@@boghund nope Those really sweet artificialy juiced red cherries. I would drop one in and watch it slowly rise and then I would flick it, it would sink and get all bubbly and rise again. Real fun

It's better than a lava lamp, because instead of waiting 20 Minutes until the spectable starts and then 20 of it still going while you're gone, now you actually see it happening while you pay attention and when you leave the room it stops automatically

Well the only reason why popcorn kernels sink in water because the kernels have a weight, but the sparkling water has baking soda, which has carbon dioxide, which makes the sparkling water have so much bubbles. So the bubbles will attach onto the kernels.
