Noah, thank you for this video! We have always had a whirly pop, but tried ghee for the first time. My husband and I agree that we had the best popcorn of our lives!!

Now this is the video for me! My favorite food is popcorn. I even made the popcorn cookies with Iliza on no panic pantry. (Not a fan of those, lol) I love the white kernels and have been using a whirly popcorn maker for 20 years.

I've got one too!!! The Whirly pop is the best. I get my kernels from Amish Country, the Baby Whites. Nice hack with the Ghee. I've been adding the Amish Country butter flavoring, but I like your hack more.

A West Bend Stir Crazy is also a great popper as a stand alone appliance. I suggest the version that comes appart so you can run the cooking surface through the dish washer. Orville was all about pop volume, not flavor and texture/mouth feel. I think small kernel white and yellow popcorns are the truest to old fashion popcorn. They are smaller, but have actual flavor, and the paricarps shatter rather than get stuck in your teeth like the new larger cross bread varieties. Popcorn is a grass. There are five main types. You might want to try Fireworks Popcorn if you want to sample more varieties. IMHO, you should add the salt after popping.

Jolly Time is my favorite that’s widely available at grocery stores. Way better than Orville. I even got some overpriced popping corn at a farmers market and it wasn’t nearly as good as the Jolly Time (both yellow and white are very flavorful)

Completely misunderstood (it's me, not you) what this video would be about. I thought it'd be about you making fancy toppings and rating the different toppings on all the same popcorn.
