As a Catholic I just see so much desecration in the words and deeds of the conservative 'Catholics' who run the Church in America (so, all of them). The Church drives people off in droves but celebrates the smaller waves of 'conversions' of these young male fascists who flock to them to dance around with rosaries and pretend to be knights to go kill liberals. It has lost its mandate, plain and simple. God still shows miracles to the Church but, in spite of all it has done, that is the literal definition of 'mercy'. If any Church is the true one, it would be Orthodoxy, I feel like, and even patriarchs for the most part there are humble. Catholicism is just disjointed, it feels too intensely and goes too extreme and that is a sign of instability. It has changed in the past. Francis is a blessing because he's trying to combat the waves of issues in this Church, yet even he isn't able to fully. Maybe when the fascists are the only ones left, that will be enough for them, but there won't be many Christians left in America at that point thanks to them.

This is not true. We worship God, love Christ and honer the Blessed mother Mary and the saints. This is because they have done one thing and that is saying yes to God no matter how sinful they were, so we remember them by using statues which points us to Jesus. So next time you see a procession of Mary remember that it is God we are worshipping by acknowledging Mary's good actions and thanking her for her saying YES for all of us to be saved. P.S Purgatory can be found in Corinthians which is described as the the purifying fire and P.P.S The Mass is a sacrament not a Sacrifice.

If Henry the 8th was Greedy, how come most of the Catholic decorations are gold? Surely the Catholic church would surrender their treasures for the poor and needy? While Henry VIII was indeed greedy, at least he wished to remove Foreign rulers (the Pope) from the role of his English Government at the same time. And while one could not divorce under Catholic doctrine, did not stop people from having mistresses, like many Catholic Kings of France. I would also like to add, that Anglicanism is more like Catholicism Light. Finally, In terms of Henry VIII's divorce from the Catholic Church, let us not also forget the growth of Lutheranism in which the common individual could read the bible in their language instead of Latin.
