Meanwhile, a priest in the Archdiocese of Chicago has officiated at a homosexual blessing that looked very much like a wedding -- with no sanction! And both in the USA and Canada, bills are proposed that threaten to make the Bible illegal under the charge of "antisemitism."

l have moved to the country side now , but l lived in a town where every Thursday evening ,after Holy Mass we had a half hour of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the main Altar ,for holiness of the priesthood.

I went into your settings and there is no option for picture in picture to keep the app open while im listening. Otherwise i have to hold the phone and keep tapping the screen. Canon 751: Heresy is the obstinate denial or obstinate doubt after the reception of baptism of some truth which is to be believed by divine and Catholic faith; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him. Canon 1364: An apostate from the faith, a heretic or a schismatic incurs a latae sententiae excommunication (ex-communication incurred automatically as a result of committing certain specified offenses). There you go John-Henry! You neither accept the teachings of Vatican II nor the authority of the Roman Pontiff. That makes you a heretic and a schismatic. Without knowing it, you have automatically ex-communicated yourself from the Catholic Church!

Ok, so you believe that we must all submit to a pontiff that is teaching or facilitating many heretical acts. Francis is more or less in automatic ex-communication. Looks like you are missing context with that specific Canon. Read other parts of the Canon Law or read the 1917 code. No one must submit to evil and, instead, must follow fundamental principles and teachings of Jesus Christ passed down to his apostles and subsequent Church leaders.

@@seppe1701 Whether or not the Pope is a heretic is not our call to make. Christ did not set up his Church to rule from the bottom - up! Is Jesus a liar or mistaken? Absolutely not! He promised us that He, and His Holy Spirit, would be with His Church to the end of time (John 14:15-17) and that the gates of Hell would not prevail against Her (Matthew 16:18). He gave us His Church to guide us in times exactly like these. He placed Pope Francis in the position he has, “to bind and loose” (Matthew 16:19, Matthew 18:18). He told us all, “Whoever listens to you (the Church) listens to me; whoever rejects you (the Church) rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.” (Luke 10:16). Are we going to discard scripture now? Good and bad popes come and go, but the Church has been around for two thousand years. Trust in Jesus! When we pass and we come before Christ, Our Lord, at our Particular Judgement and He says, “What have you to show for yourself?” And you reply, “Lord, I did exactly as you told me, while many left the Church or plotted against the man you put in the Chair of Peter. I followed him and your Church and stayed true to them.” Christ will then say to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!” (Matthew 25:21). As for the 1917 Code of Canon Law, in 1983, Pope John Paul II promulgated a revised Code of Canon Law known as the "1983 Code." This new code replaced the 1917 Code and introduced significant changes and updates to reflect the developments in the Church and society that had taken place since the earlier code was enacted. The 1983 Code of Canon Law is currently in effect and governs the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church. If you want to get to Heaven, follow the Church and the Pope!

We are allowed to oppose such heretical directives if they are deemed evil and contradict such principles handed down to us by other popes. And we are granted the right and duty to challenge any such wrong-doings.
