When I was confirmed in the Catholic church at age 51, I was publicly announced I believe in everything the church teaches. It was a 9 month process to discern and learn the basic dogma and doctrines of the faith, which was taught to me in a way that made sense and I agreed to. With all integrity I joined. I started remembering, as Father was speaking, that many of my friends - and especially Jewish friends - who converted, or reverted, during the 80’s, had some sort of preternatural or supernatural experience that drove the move to Christ. I’m starting to understand why, because besides those who were outside the Church and had full on conversions, we reverts found nothing (or very little) supernatural coming from the pulpits, once our traditional priests either aged and retired, or were moved along. He certainly can chastise priests for promoting schism, but the ancient rite has been protected by previous Popes. Didn't Pope Benedict specifically protect the Latin rite during his Papacy? In Mediator Dei, Pope Saint Pius XII is not affecting the integrity of the Quo Primum Decree or breaking with Papal continuity, which in itself is a crime against divine and ecclesiastical law. I do not accept that Mediator Dei had any intention to overrule or negate Quo Primum. As if a saintly Pope would even countenance such a rebellious act! It concerns itself only with minor modifications and necessary oversight to maintain the integrity of the Mass. The Latin Mass cannot be legitimately banned, and why would any HOLY Father ever want to do so? It is very apparent that Bergoglio has no faith. He did once, but now he doesn’t. He does not believe in Jesus. Without Jesus he is barren like a dried & cracked walnut, he is without love. It is very sad. Pray for him.

what do you mean you seen this a while back? Francis just made this declaration in last week or so. If you mean Quo Primum, yes, it has been around centuries. I've known of it for at least 45 years and I've been attending the Latin Mass that long. That's why this whole forcing of the Novus Ordo is actually a crime, a real injustice against God's faithful.
