Theory time! Many theorize the finale scene as Zurkus being Keda's and Popee's some sort of shared hallucination, but it sounded kinda cheap to me. I didn't reject it entirely though, albeit with a little twist on my interpretation: 1. I think the whole scenario is real up until Keda's mental breakdown. Then, the pressure of his real face being _found out_ by others intensify his internal turmoil to the point where he imagines *everything* , even the tent, props, etc staring at him. This hallucination culminates when it's shown everybody(and everything) fades away one by one, and then _Popee_ tumbles down. Perhaps seeing Keda's uncharacteristic despair made Popee pities him where he kneels down in sympathy with Keda. 2. It makes sense for Popee to be the sole person left in Keda's hallucination; He is his best and closest friend. Before Papi came we never knew how long they've been together or when they first met-another mysterious subplot we can theorize!-but seeing how they always stick around despite the neverending quarrels, safe to say the bond is strong. Also, we get a glimpse of Popee's surprising thoughtful(read: non-violent) behavior to 'Keda' in _Loneliness_ ; From cooking Keda's favourite fried chicken, and to gently assisting cardboard Keda to play chess. 3. I believe the giant white wolf is some sort of "mythical" beast in PTP universe, and belong to a race feared by humans and other animals. This explains why the frog says "Like his mother's" when it referred to Keda's face, as the beast is so well known that its gender and face is known by every living being. Popee and Papi possibly recognizes her too as shown in _Samurai_ , but since they never saw Keda's face directly they cannot pick up the connection. I headcanon Popee and Papi recognized Keda as a dog rather than a wolf all this time. 4. Keda being the timid and softhearted 'beast' obviously refuse to be associated with his kind and hides behind a mask. Kedamini had one because he might inherited his father's face too. Alright so that's all i can think of. There are so many things i can theorize out of this bizzare show, but this one already took a lot of my time lmao.

I legit LOVE this show, it’s amazing. And although it’s a Japanese kids show, I still unironically love it, it makes me so happy :) it’s made me laugh when I’m sad, and that’s one of the reasons I love it :) Although it follows dark themes, it shows that not every show has to be all happy to be good. I believe that this is one of the better shows I’ve seen in my days and even though I just discovered it, it’s already my favorite show in general, I found out about this yesterday and I’ve already finished season 1 & 2! I genuinely love this show so much so everyone reading this, show popee some love :) 💖💕 Also, this is like a better version of happy tree friends, which makes me love it even more, as a long time happy tree friends fan, although I still prefer this more. Also, quick conspiracy I made up with someone, the white wolf at the end of season 2, could be Kademono ( the wolve’s) father. Idk if anyone can agree but yeah, also, at first I was kind of scared/weirded out of this show, but now I LOVE IT! I’m a bit sad that the Popee The Performer fandom is dying, but I still love it :)
