Ha! They even did the glitch in the beginning where Bluto gets stuck after you hit him when invincible and hit him with the falling barrel. I thought I was the one who knew this trick. I found that out one day as a kid.

In the arcade version, Sweet Pea sat on the floating board and held a balloon (which I assume was why the board was floating). If you timed it just right, you could jump onto Wimpy's see-saw and he would send you flying up to catch Sweet Pea's platform and bring him back down to the top floor (if you missed, you fell harmlessly to the second highest floor). Doing this move successfully would net the player 500 points (1000 points if he had just eaten spinach). All three screens in this game had it's own gimmick, but this one was probably the most fun.

Popeye, the score board, and some of the background tiles are hi res sprites, the rest of the sprites are using multicolor mode (double width pixels).
