Popeyes is a massive simp lol sweet pea is Olives kid, but has no daddy, and she’s like here I can’t go out with you but go babysit my kid, then after he goes through hell to protect the brat she repays him by physically assaulting him 😏 I grew up on this as a kid and now I understand how much conditioning goes into your childhood, I still love this, very nostalgic for me to watch this again.

Considering the ending of this black and white Popeye cartoon, I'm still surprised that Popeye hasn't dumped Olive Oyl altogether yet. Especially with how in many other Popeye cartoons in later years, Olive would have NO RESPECT NOR ANY SYMPATHY for Popeye at all.
