Thanks for the tips. I'd finally dragged my fuse tool after sitting on my shelf for many years. I'd watched several video's & I wasn't getting any results.... till I got to your video. You talked about everything I was doing wrong. Glass mat. Wheel not turning. No grip. The best tutorials are from people who don't have an interest in promoting a product - the actual users. You got to the point. You cover different scenario's. You covered practical use and results. Thank you

I was looking for ways to use my wood-burning tool and ran across your video from 2018. You provided some great tips, like fusing both sides of the plastic, holding the tool at an angle and using the cardboard underneath in order to get better contact with the tool, and lastly putting more pressure on the fusing area with the ruler. All so logical and helpful! Thanks!

OMG thank you! I got my fuse tool 14 months ago and couldn’t get it to fuse. The indents were there, but no fusing. I tried your tricks of leaving it for ages (went and had a shower in the meantime) and did it on cardstock. First time and success! 💕

That was a very informative video! I'd really like to see how the decorative fuse tips are used. I've been playing with them and can't seem to get a good fuse. The dotted tip is a good decorative look, but I didn't get a descent fuse with it - and yes, my tool heated for about 20 minutes before use! The tip with the elongated slashes looks like it would be very beneficial, but I find it difficult to get the design to stay even. You definitely need to hold your fuse tool parallel to the surface, but I'm having great difficulties. Either my design isn't true or it's not straight. I know I need to keep practicing, but I'm looking for any ideas other users might have - PLEASE!!

Mine kinda doesn’t roll on a 200 micron acetate. I thought trying thinner plastic would help but similar problem again. It glides smooth. Idk if it’s because it wasn’t heated well or the plastic was too much for the tool to melt

Thank you for demonstrating how to get this tool to work. WRMK comes up with some cool stuff and they market the heck out of them, but let's admit it - half the stuff is crap and should have been better designed and QA'ed. This is one of them. As users, we shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops to get this thing to work semi-properly (i.e. if it needed a mat to grip so the perforated wheel will turn, then it should have came with that or they should have provided instructions). The more of their tools I buy, the more pissed I get. LOL

I wonder how you affix the shaker cards if you leave nothing to tape it down on the inside of the card??? I use WeRMemory Keepers page protectors and I only need to do the front to make it sturdy. Today I made a waterfall card using my fuse tool and I used page protectors from C-line. Worked beautifully. I disagree with turning it over. The grips are so nothing slips...and it is so much easier with it face down on them as the company intended.

I just got the fuse tool about a week ago I have been playing with it everyday for about an hour a day, I have done everything and I can not get this to hold a fuse. With min pressure the seal pops. I’ve changed my speed pressure pressed super hard mrs pressure everything. I thought it was my page protectors so I bought the ones u mentioned but it’s still not working is there anything else u can tell me to get it to hold a good fuse?

Just curious Dani...Why do you not use the slit in the ruler as your guide for fusing? I've always followed the directions that come with the tools I purchase, but wondered if you found an issue with using the slit and that's why you prefer the edge of the ruler for guidance? I've not used my fuse yet and am watching different videos to get as much advise as possible before starting my project - a double slider card for my grandson's 18th birthday!
