IMPORTANT: I've been informed about something that contradicts a portion of this theory, and I want to talk about it here. Ventman was not created for Long POPGOES. They are entirely unrelated, and I know this for certain. That said, I do stand by everything adjacent to their place in the theory. This video is less about pitching the idea "King Freddy is Simon!" and is more about how these characters seemingly intentionally parallel one another. To clarify, I still think Mangle in POPGOES: And The Machinist is meant to be foreshadowing for how Simon will appear in Evergreen. As I went over in the video, this theory only got started because of the similarities my friend noticed with Simon and Mangle! My apologies for any confusion. Thanks again for watching!

I wish fangames got more great theory videos like this. I’ll never understand why Matpat only ever did a single theory on a fangame, and it was FNF out of all things. Dude, Candy and Popgoes are right there!

Not only has this video proven all my points (I have believed that The Machinist represents Fritz and the Dead Forest represents Simon), but this video was also super entertaining to watch and even gave me a few scares. Especially the scare at 27:00 was when I was hooked into this video. You deserve so much more for these videos!! Subbing and looking forward to any future upload whether that be Undertale or FNAF!!

I'd also like to say how much I enjoy that, instead of using the pre-rebooted lore as evidence to stuff such as Bonnie's murder, you use stuff from the Evergreen continuity as sources! Great work, I can't say this enough.

I really hope Simon gets a large update like this in Evergreen, I really want to love him but he was quite lacking in the original. The "certain seconds" gimmick was lame and I was very disappointed he wasn't an in game threat. That has to change, I hope ;;
