They are both so animated and ageless! Good for them! Sad George didn’t live to the same age.

This is a great interview thank you so much for uploading it it is so nice to hear both of the actors talk about the show I love the show I don’t care what year it was made it so creative and really paved the way for all the superman movies and TV shows in the future George Reeves I don’t think he probably realized how iconic his character would be and it’s so sad even today that his problems were just too much for him to handle

The actors were really cheated when it came to their salaries. I read that Jack Larson and Noel Neill were paid somewhere in the range of $200.00 a week for just 13 weeks (the time it took to film the series for a year's run) which comes to $2,600 a year. It is no wonder that Larson went to Europe to work and Ms. Neill worked with George Reeves touring state fairs and other venues. Even in the 1950s, $2,600 is not a livable income.

Am I the only one that knows that Noel appears in both Superman the movie and Lois & Clark? She is Lois’s mom on the train in the movie, and in one episode of Lois & Clark, Dean and Terri are dancing in front of a mirror and Terri’s Lois is worrying about Clark aging slower than everyone else and she see a reflection in the mirror of herself as and old woman dancing with Clark as he is. The older Lois in the mirror is Noel Neal.

I agree with Jack Larson about George taking off. The springboard effect takeoff is definitely far superior to anything done now. His landings, outside, were from a ladder {looked great} as were the entrance through a window. You will truly believe that a man can fly. Rest in peace Jack and Noel along with George.
