@@AdilDIlyas all I'll say is one if he gets a role in the MCU cool two Disney hates actors that love the source material that's a fact, Gunn too but even he couldn't imagine how popular Cavill was with fans and casting him as Batman would look like a apologe. So yeah there's a 50/50 chance depending on how Gunn does it that Cavill would do it, but the reality is Gunn has a over flated ego and if he even thought it looked like a apologe he wouldn't do it. So no I highly doubt it but I would love to see Cavill try the Bat because yes he's a very good actor and I love seeing actors become great by taking on different roles 😉✌️ Edit oh plus that would make him the first actor to have played BOTH Superman and Batman 😲😃 Geek out 😲😲😲😲😁

Jason Momoa was born to portray Lobo and I have to get my hands on the Women of Tomorrow comic. I also have to read the story tied to the new Green Lantern show.

Lobo was not included in the comic book version of Woman of Tomorrow, but Tom King had originally proposed a story where Supergirl and Lobo would work together. However, his editors, Brittany Holzherr and Jamie Rich, convinced him to remove Lobo from the story and instead have Supergirl take on the role of the Rooster Cogburn character, inspired by the film “True Grit”. This change led to the final version of the story, where Supergirl takes on a more central and independent role. As for the reason why Lobo was left out, it was to give Supergirl a more prominent and independent role in the story, without sharing the spotlight with another well-known character. This allowed for a deeper exploration of Supergirl’s character and her personal journey. So I’m excited to see how Tom King has written Lobo into the movie version of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Tom King, who wrote Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow, said his original written pitch had Lobo in it. He said once his editor read it, she liked the Lobo stuff, is a Lobo fan but didn't want to use him. I forgot what reason he said she gave but in the end, obviously, King didn't use him. I'm guessing they're using whatever Lobo idea King had in his pitch for the Supergirl film.

Small thing, Supergirl actually got injured in the fight. She's drunk because the planet she's on has a red sun. She does get injured in the fight but what's really cool about the comic is how had ass she is even depowered under a red sun

Would have loved to see her origin story and something happen in space on her journey here, a 'speed bump' of a plot to show her progress, her powers as she gets closer to a yellow sun, etc. By the time she reaches Earth she shows up where there happens to be a catastrophe and helps, finding superman and finding her cousin is all grown up, etc. Just would have been a cool way to go about it. After catching up on the animated features I saw the Crisis ending and that huge plot with Supergirl World Of Tomorrow was pretty dope and thinking "damn, what a curve ball of an intro it could be to piggy back the universe off of her story since she shows up in the middle of the action rather than near the beginning" Basically, use her like us, she's the audience, she's showing up into this world unveiling it as we do.

Here's my thoughts, superman fights the big Kaiju thing, saves the girl, Luther does some PR thing and twists things to get people riled up, Green Lantern and crew come to get him, he gives in, Luther breaks into the Fortress of solitude with his crew, releases Brainiac and when Sups comes and investigate he is beaten by Brainiac. Brainiac then gets his stuff that has Kandor in it, superman finds it and battle 2 happens with Supergirl being released and they team up to defeat him.

The trailer doesn’t explicitly state Krypto can’t fly, it’s likely due to the fact that he doesn’t want Superman to flop around while he’s being carried (if Krypto was flying). Especially since he’s already injured too. That said, maybe I’m wrong but that was my thought when I saw that scene.

I think this Supergirl cameo will be during the destruction of Krypton with her Kryptonian parents. I HOPE the other superheroes are primarily there for world building, to open the audience up to the idea of the great DC universe right from the start. I'm a little concerned that James Gunn can get carried away with ensemble movies, making them a mile wide but an inch deep with the characters, so I hope he's reeled it in with this one because you're right, it's meant to be a Superman movie.

Yeah, I can definitely see Jason Momoa playing as Lobo, no offense on his character Aquaman, but Chris Helmsworth, Stephen Armail, or that guy that played Green Arrow from the series Smallville would've been a better Aquaman, because out of ALL Aquaman's I've seen including the cartoon versions have ALWAYS had blonde hair and didn't act like he was pissed off at the world, that was mostly a Lobo kind-of thing, after all in the Superman the Animated series he did blow up his entire planet as a science fair project.
