Recycled Firefighter has a Field Notes Wallet called The Hypalon Inspector. It's water proof. Also Flowfold has wallets and a Field Notes type holder and is also water proof. They're awesome. I do like popov as well but you need something more sweat resistant.

Mold? How sweaty are you? Where were you storing the wallet?

Lol. I live in Houston where it’s over 100 degrees with 100% humidity in the summer. I kept it in my left pocket.

BEWARE if you live in the UK!! I bought a wallet from Popov leather. They charged me £10 for shipping - THEN I received a bill from UK customs for an additional £18. So ended up paying £28 in shipping/tax etc. Nice small wallet but shipping almost doubled the cost. I really don't feel that they should be marketing their items in the UK if this is the TRUE cost.

Seems to me that they didn’t do anything wrong they listed how much it was to get to the uk the 18 pounds had nothing to do with them but I guess your little British brain couldn’t understand that

Horween leather sucks, you need to get a nice veg tan cover,when you buy a field notes cover from Popov your actually buying 2 of em anyway

75th Teaster I would love to take a look at one you recommend if you want to provide a recommendation, but I‘be had very good experiences with Horween leather overall. I have over 20 pairs of Allen Edmonds (all Horween) and several Nomad products (all Horween) as well as many other products with leathers from Horween, so I do speak from experience. That being said, if you have a better suggestion on a specific leather or company, I would be happy to check them out.

Triple E EDC Well Allen Edmonds is a bit different the horween leather they use goes thru a series of glazing the leather to make it much harder and they are very good at it... Besides that example and the shell they produce horween is the most over overrated leather in the world, I don’t get it everyone loves the way the leather ages and patinas but veg tan leather makes it look like bonded leather, popov used to make that same cover in veg tan but they discontinued it.. One star leather makes nice field note covers in veg tan and horween also, Popov does excellent work, it’s just the leather they use is what sucks. And it’s so floppy and mushy I don’t know why people is attracted to this type of leather for?? It would be awesome if you would try a veg tan cover for a few months and compare the two, I would donate to the cause if you would

Triple E EDC yes please do I’m positive you’ll appreciate the vegetable tanned leather I personally like the natural or any that’s Hermann oak I personally think they are the best in the country but I like firm leather that takes awhile to get broken In un-like horween that’s broken in after 20 dam minutes of use,
