I was inspired and originally cased this card from fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Josee Smuck. My original blog post with lots of photos, measurements and step-by-step instructions can be found at www.serenestamper.com , blog post April 13, 2017: www.serenestamp...
Due to the popularity of this card, I decided to create a video too! In the video I used “Sheltering Tree”, the April 2018 “You Are My Anchor” Paper Pumpkin stamps and the new “Love What You Do” stamp set (available May 1, 2018). “High Tide”, “Just Add Text” and “Waterfront”stamps were also used on the cards. This “Popped Focal Point” technique is so easy and a ton of FUN - I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
To shop online go to www.serenestamper.stampinup.net (within CANADA only) . Thanks for watching and HAPPY STAMPING! ~ Tina Zinck, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

First I LOVE that you use chapstick to adhere your stamp to the block. I have used gluestick in the past, but I think your way is cleaner/tidier. Second I LOVED how you fixed the stray ink... that inkblot/grass addition was perfect. Thank you for all the inspiration.

Hi Cass - so glad you enjoyed this video and yes, it's normal to get ink where we didn't want it. The challenge - and the fun - is figuring out how to fix it! LOL I always tell my stampers that they can't make 'mistakes' - just cover it up with stamped images, a ribbon, a flower embellishment, etc. Most times our cards with the 'boo boos' end up being our favourites! Happy stamping!

LOVE this card and technique.. how you fixed where ink got on the card. Can't call it a mistake- a mishap.. lol The idea of using chapstick on your block!!! And it held the stamp. I'm hoping to try this after dinner. I 'm going to check blog for the sizes of cardstock that you used. Thanks for sharing.. And Thanks to Josee Smuck.
