The amount of detail she puts into her work is insane. She didn't just make a tiny box that looks similar to the book, but instead she actually made a perfect replica of the book, spells included, and has a fully functioning closing mechanism. This woman is unbelievable.

This looks so great! I love the attention to detail on the book especially! Just a little tip if you make a book again: Instead of cutting the pages apart from each other, when you’re laying them out in procreate or whatever keep all the edges together. So instead of having page 1/2 together, then page 3/4 together etc, have 1-10 all together side by side. Then when you go to assemble it, score the center of page 1/2 just like how you did it, then on the opposite side of the print (the white side) score page 2/3. This will fold it the opposite way, creating an accordion style fold. Then you can glue 2/3 together while still being attached and you won’t have a white edge when you look at the closed book 😊

Usually, I'm in love with absolutely everything Poppen makes, but this is the first time I have a complaint. I wouldn't really call it a complaint as much as a constructive criticism. It bothered me so much that she took all this time to make the book look amazing but left the edges of the pages a crisp white, which clashed with the overall style of the book. That's my only criticism. Everything else was perfect!
