always loved fishing those grass frogs for bass some 30+ years ago. we used to bend down the barbs on the 2 hooks and slide another hook on each one…like as a trailer hook. it looks like legs also. hope you’re enjoying your stay here in the states. stay safe and God bless. joe in MS

So good you made it over here, your popper and Minnow 80F got me mullet snapper well over 20 pounds, rooster fish, big cuberas etc. in Panama a few months back. Highly recommended but so pretty it's tough to sacrifice em. I got an 85cm snake this morning (measured on the Jabbers tape) and some smaller ones in a canal a third that size, next time I head back over to your neck of the woods I have to get some flatheads. Tuned in, can't wait to see what else you add to your catch list.

Cavy if I can give you a tip for freshwater lure fishing vs. saltwater lure fishing. In saltwater yes you want your lure to move very fast and erratically but in freshwater distance the baits move need to be minimized while the twitching or movements need to be honed to replicate actual prey movements and that is done by watching different bait fish species move and by trial and error but you want to minimize lure travel distance while paying attention to movements or motions of the rod/bait... no movement speaks a lot to LMB in particular

You should try the other species of snakehead (giant snakehead) which is totally dofferent style of lure fishing than this kind of snakehead, theyre strong and fast swimmer, deep diver and sharp teeth that break even 50-70lb of leader. And they also get to 30lb on a good day

Cavy brotha you can catch a nice 40 to 50 pound tarpon in freshwater also depending on where you go. Try and hook up with lawson lindsey or ryan morie or land shark fishing for some of those if they are here in south florida. Lawson Lindsey especially for some good freshwater tarpon.
