I like the design. Reminds me of Captain Nemo from "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". His kit is fun. He can pop into a 2v1 and tip the scale in favor of your teammate. He's like a solo queuer babysitter. 😅

I build around the multiplier on this guy and I think it’s worth trying out. Boundless spirit, Improved burst, ricochet, you just shoot people in a teamfight and let the multiplier charge up, once it maxes out it pops for a 1k+ damage burst and feels absolutely insane. Also, the multiplier stacking is not based on the amount if shots you hit or the amount of damage you do, it is strictly based on time. Once you increase the multiplier on someone you have to wait a couple seconds until that small purple crosshair appears on their body to indicate that you can increase their multiplier again. T3 slightly reduces that time so you can build the stacks faster.

with how often you blast people after tornado I would consider close quarters into point blank as a key item. I run that on dynamo with his knock up and it shreds. great game!

I can confirm point blank is great on mirage , stacked with slowong bullets you can really front line and be ultra annoying also the 1 stamina from point blank + bullet resist helps a lot at being tanky and alows you to skip extra stamina and go for return fire , return fire on mirage is really nice because the return projectiles proc your 3 so you return fire during teamfight and everyone gets your 3 debuff and you can just spam it to proc things like mystic slow or bullet resist shredder on enemies the dmg really sucks though after 12 seconds you might deal like 500 dmg i would advise maxing this skill last tbh

The 25% armour reduction on his 2 is like 3 times stronger than the whole 3 skill lol ; the 3 only serves to slow them a bit , i tried a full spirit build and even with like 180 spirit his 3 takes 12 seconds to deal 800 dmg im pretty sure next patch the 2 armour reduction is gerting nerfed and the 3 is getting like 3 buffs ,

His 1 and 2 are such insane skills that the rest of his kit could be nothing and he'd be a good character. 50% evasion, 35% armor reduction are absurd numbers on basic abilities.

I really dont like this character. Idk if he just has "new character syndrome" so noone knows how to play against him, but he seems super overtuned and i refuse to play him. I'd feel toxic if i did.

that's just how Valve usually release their heroes in their Mobas (Dota2). they would rather make the new hero too strong than make it too weak so that a lot of people would play them and get more data from that. They will nerf them very quickly once they got the datas, even Mirage just got some nerf 2 hours ago

No he definitely is very overtuned. He's very good at doing almost everything a hero could possibly do. He can lift up an entire team if they're together close, he can blast damage from close and even afar. I've straight up sniped Vindicta's out of the sky with his gun early to mid game. It's crazy.

He's pretty broken at the moment. He has great CC, lifesteal and probably the best pushing tool in the game. He can just take a walker and then teleport across the map.

@@Dew-b8b you can push up any lane deep and in risky positions and escape safely. Even Wraith has limits since her teleport works over a limited distance. It's the same philosophy as Nature's Prophet from Dota.

The most fun I've had with Mirage is using his tornado to lift people, then turn around and melee them before they get released. They can parry you, so you have to judge your timing. Even if they parry while lifted, you still have time to wait it out and get a heavy melee hit in just as the lift and parry both end. You just have to be able to make those split second decisions on when to melee, and you have to be able to react to their parry timing. TLDR: Parry Mirage build fun for early and mid (and sometimes late) game.

It's not exactly hard to pop off with them honestly. As someone who's played them a fair bit now, they require some nerfs and reworks. His 1 is a bit too much just to start, he has crazy mobility and crazy gun damage. Honestly he's got a kit that kind of does a bit of everything and said bit of everything quite well. Sadly, I find his kit rather boring, there's no wow factor to it. It's just strong and that's really it.

I've been building this guy for his 3 and building long range so I can have stupid lane pressure in duo lanes. With his other abilities it's very hard to dive him and his gun feels very strong. He feels like you can build him in some weird ways

I only played one game with mirage but built spirit. With extra charge I would dash in on someone, spam all charges of my 2, and shoot then the enemy would die before they hit the ground.

Ricochet seems insane later game for aoe stacking in team fights, also mystic reverb has like a 5-6 second cooldown, with the slow on it. Could be good for chasing people down. I've been building a lot towards his 3, and been shredding. But new character moment for sure, tornado is insane stats all around. We'll have to see what everyone does with him

mirage feels really weird imo. building spirit doesn't work because his scaling is ass, his 2 doesn't do much damage and is hard to consistently hit, his 3 totally sucks ass, you can't build stacks fast enough and even if you somehow get to max stacks, the damage is a freaking joke. The melee build is also bad, it works alright in early game but in late game melees just don't do enough damage and his tornado stun is long enough for 2 hits at most. By far the most viable build is just gun damage, but his abilities really don't do much for this build so it feels like wasted potential. His ult is fun and has many interesting uses, but it's pure utility so it's not really a part of any build. (it should be called uber cremation because it's just instant urn delivery to your door) His original design had an ult that linked enemies and shared damage between them, i feel like that had much more synergy with his tornado and scarab skills. Anyway, his 3 desperately needs a buff, i would lower the stack delay to 1 second, give it bullet resist shred that is active as long as the stacks are applied and maybe triple the stack proc damage, this way it does something for the gun build with the debuff, lets you realistically build stacks and has some actual damage that's worth building stacks for. Weirdly enough mirage is not really underpowered, he just feels like a mix of features that do nothing for each other in any combination
