bro, thank you so much for posting your wisdom and love to share dancing. i'm 38 yrs old and don't look it because i move like a 20 yr old. I got hooked on your neyo dance moves you did in the garage with tutting and all that. i first wanted to "bite" your entire set, but after getting videos in my inbox, i started learning that you are actually putting everything together from the basics, so that's what i'm going back to, you're amazing an i so appreciate your desire to share. God bless Angel

Your tutorial is extremely helpful! You briefly and clearly introduce the topic, and each steps is organized , and easy to catch the point. Moreover, your conclusion helps the viewer to review the whole lesson again. I'd say you are not only a incredible dancer, also a professional instructor. Plus, the tutorial helped me through my dance performance, too! Thank you for sharing!

you teach very well, some people make a video of 2 minutes to teach you something like this, but you really take the time to make everything clear, normally now I would have 100 questions but I don't:D
@Ch3wza15 жыл бұрын
the sound effects come in handy , much like creating a sound that connects with the move. so later on when you hear a similar sound in a song, it reminds you of the move ! :) keep it up shawn!

Great tutorial. I like all the little tips you give along the way, especially the advice about concentrating on one set of moves at a time. It's tough to discipline yourself amid the abundance of dance tutorials on the web. I'll have to give sound effects a try too, ssshhhummmm!

THANKS for showing this. Irt seems on the move the hands continue their same motion, rhythm and timing INDEPENDENTLY of what the upper body and legs are doing. the arms continue to move in slow motion as the upper body/chest area moves very quickly initially and then almost slows down a beat as it gets to the last part of the decent. a VERY complicated sophisticated move that you explained beautifully here.

what moves should a poppin beginner start digging into first? or would it be better if you dig multiple holes all at once? I'm asking what moves are considered most fundamental and later are built upon. If not, what's your recommendation?

@sjappie5123 that question is too broad. There are a lot of different moves and different styles. How long to learn a glide (move) and how long to learn a windmill (move)...but it really varies depending on what you working on. I'm a fast learning in certain areas like poppin but breakdance takes me a little longer. Everyone is a different learner

@shortaflip15 жыл бұрын
That is called a speed change, which uses dimestopping. Dimestopping is a foundation in botting and really helps in popping. You have such a large following, learn the foundations so you can distribute it properly.

@Muzicsoulrhythm wow, alright so first of all people will always be negative and cynical and sit there all day and pick apart terminology and say this is waving not popping and that's animation and those are tics but who's counting?!?! lol Shawn your doing a great thing taking your time to spread your blood sweat and training to the masses keep it up

Its cool you teach and share what you know, but please be careful with the terms you use :). And also remember to research full homework and know all the foundations and basics and more importantly practice what you preach before you start teaching. Make sure you drop the right and eligible knowledge ayt. Be careful cause billions of people go up on youtube. You might reach out to fresh ones or to yourself in the wrong way. And the OGs gon' bust your ass for barbering their art. just be careful
