Yeah, Pocket is such a strong reflector. You take an absurd amount of damage from any kind of projectile. You can also use it as a second air dodge and to straight up remove certain tools from play like ROB's Gyro and Link's Bomb.

I’m not a pro or anything but as a Min Min main I think her worst matchups are Pikachu and Pichu though she has a lot of horrible matchups for similar reasons. They’re small and her arms can’t angle themselves low enough to get them back so their rush down game is easily going to get her off stage and considering that Min Min is very slow and has a bad recovery, she’s easy to edgeguard for early kills and edge guarding Pikachu and Pichu is not on the table for her which is a very important piece of her gameplan

I play Ridley and yeah he has a ton of matchups that are just miserable (basically every top tier and heavy zoner), but the matchup I struggle with the most is Fox actually. He’s so fast and can punish basically Ridley’s entire move set from anywhere on stage and pressure Ridley’s shield for free. Playing that matchup is like playing rock, paper, scissors; but you’re locked to scissors and the opponent just keeps picking rock.

I don't play Min Min but I play Pikachu and I think Pikachu could be her worst matchup. Tjolt doesn't let her use her arms at all and quick attack messes her up really hard. Once Pikachu is in advantage she has a hard time getting out and she gets edgeguarded really hard.

I've had EXCELLENT results fighting Min Min with Mii Gunner with the grenade, stealth burst, and arm rocket specials. I usually have reflector for down b to mix up falls but it doesn't matter much if you prefer magnet or the bomb drop. Stealth burst kills VERY early if you can get them off stage.

I initially thought that Pac Man has the worst time with wolf because Tweek always uses him in that MU, but Palu really does the job better the more I think about it. She has a better a projectile game and reflector, her recovery can’t get gimped as easily, and her combo game and damage output isn’t that far off from him. I guess wolf’s air speed makes his kit work against pac man, but palu doesn’t really need to get her stocks in the MU. Really smart video, loved it a lot!

Ok I am a seasoned ridley main. And have been for over a year and have used him in many tournaments (local) and won my fair share. Rob is not a bad matchup for Ridley. Ridley's worst matchup in my experience are pikachu and min min. Ridley can keep Zss out of the air, rob is even, Ridley can edge guard and out range swordies, and overall can beat camping characters if the player knows the matchup. Ridley is highly underrated in my opinion.

As a banjo main, I agree fox is a hard MU but we can ledge guard fox really well (just WW Firefox and Nair illusion), WW kills fox at 70%, and with fox being a fast faller banjo has true combos that only work on fast fallers and heavies Personally, I think palu and pika are his worst MU. Palu can out camp banjo. Explosive flame just destroys banjos ability to camp and Nair beats out any approach option he has. Pika is just so small we can’t hit him with anything and banjo gets 0-Death really easily

It is one out of Roy, Greninja and Pikachu due to those three being able to permanently pressure him, keeping him out of menu while applying safe pressure consistently. While Palu is strong in advantage against him, thanks to Zapple and the Heroes great range, the neutral isn't even bad for him. The MU is slightly losing at worst.

The snake greninja mu is incorrect. We can actually camp snake due to shuriken being a physical projectile as well as us having amazing mobility. Fair even though slow is an amazing tool in this mu. Fair allows us to poke for kills at higher percents while not putting ourselves in danger. As for offstage if the snake goes low gren can go deep for the fair and cover it. If he goes high we can still catch it with plats with fair, and if he air dodges we can still get a punish off. Snake cannot stop a gren from juggling with grenade alone due to up air being a very slender hitboox. We can just avoid hitting it which isn't hard to do at all and is pretty much brain dead to do. I would say grens worst mu's are either pikachu due to his edge guarding or wario who can actually force greninja to approach due to waft.

Seems to me like Min Min is the type that would get really destroyed by Palutena, Roy, or Pikachu. They are all characters with fairly safe and/or fast approach options and oppressive advantage states, something that seems like a major problem for Min Min.

The irony in Joker being Cloud's best matchup is that my first games using Cloud (and among my first including Smash 4) were clean wins against my brother's Joker - he wanted to showcase how broken he was, but I read him like a book much of the time! I think part of it is that I enter a subtle higher-performance state when I anticipate a big challenge, so I thought about what to look out for. One moment I particularly remember is getting him off the stage and reading his high double jump with a forward air for a KO.
