Poppy wasnt that great tho, as loud as the arena got, I almost fell asleep. On top of that, poppy didnt interact with the crowd AT ALL. Her vocals were great when she wasn't "screaming" her lungs out. Overall poppy was like 5/10 and sullivan king was like 7-8/10 and then a7x was like 11/10

Poppy is great but this looks and sounds pre-recorded. Plus opening with bloodmoney and church outfit is a horrible idea. those songs are weak and definitely isn't going to get over with someone else's fans. in fact, it'll turn them against you like it did here. She needs to open with 'lessen the damage' and add in some of the better covers she does like 'spit' and 'fear of dying.'

Facts from a real musician: 1) Touring is expensive, it would require a 12-13 piece band to replicate her songs even close to correctly. So a three piece stage act with a crew is what works in this economy. 2) She is taking advantage of her record label’s touring reach by opening for other Sumerian Records artists. 3) Poppy is considerably more creative than the artists she is opening for. Unfortunately, most of these Neanderthals in the audience prefer to run around slamming into one other instead of marveling at what this remarkable woman has created. The sad fact is, her art is simply over their heads. 4) She is NOT lip syncing. In fact, I have rarely encountered a pro vocalist with this level of perfect pitch. 5) For a female in a seriously male dominated genre, she has done quite well. 6) Poppy’s music spans several genres: metal, electronic, bubblegum, reggae, dance, noise, ambient, etc. She is a musical genius. 7) Most proficient musicians don’t respect Avenge Sevenfold. Not saying they suck, they are simply creating music on a different level that appeals to a certain kind of male, not accomplished musicians. Poppy, however, appeals to males, females, LGBTQ+, and multiple age groups. 8) 50 years from now Poppy will be among the legendary. Avenge Sevenfold will fade into obscurity with so many others. Again, not putting them down, but an artist has to be truly unique and groundbreaking to stand the test of time and become a legend. The unfortunate fact is these audiences are witnessing a future musical legend but failing to enjoy it.
