One thing I haven’t seen a lot of people acknowledge is how powerful catnap is He can create illusions of himself, reshape his body, can run faster than any other enemy in game, survived being hit by a ridiculous amount of electricity while still being able to move etc When Ollie said catnap lives for the hunt, he definitely meant it cuz there’s no way he was actually trying this whole time

Nah, if Catnap wanted us dead we would have been from the moment we stepped foot on the Playcare. Many characters themselves claimed that he liked to play with his preys, scaring them and wearing them off slowly. That is almost definitely one of the only reasons we’re alive

The character inhales the red gas, which means they start to hallucinate, which happened to the children, from what we heared in the first tape? i think, because the lady was talking to perhaps stella greyber how a child was screaming and flailling about a nightmare they saw, a colorless monster, and catnap in that form WAS colorless, so it is most likely a hallucination. and.. why else would catnaps jumpscare be his normal form when he is that colorless slender like beast?@@FatalisCataclysm

I didn’t even realize that, that is so sad. It’s also sad to know most of the toys were children, and Catnap protects any bad against The Prototype. Canonically, it says he thought of The Prototype as some type of God but it just reminds me of an older sibling always protecting the younger one.

it is even sadder knowing that the reason he became catnap is because he was horribly burned by an electric charge as a child and was saved by the 1006 prototype by giving him to the scientists because the only way to save him was to pass him to a new experiment thus creating catnap and abandoning all his old life as a child in the most horrible way, knowing that makes this scene where he burns for the same reasons he became catnap even sadder and as he knows he is going to die because his gases are highly flammable he preferred to die at the hands of his savior than at the hands of his biggest threat (the protagonist).

The fact that they intentionally or not making catnap keep staring at you at any direction even with the debugged camera is INSANELY GENIUS. It breaks the fourth wall to players and made it a literally “real” catnap who is described to make you dream in an unreal world that you might not be able to notice until the dream gives you signs of weird, unrealistic moments. WHICH come to think of it, it’s exactly like these moments 3:27 or 5:43 that it keeps staring at you when it’s not supposed to.

Look carefuly. One of the arms looks just like the prototype. and it has a ribcage. The arm we have already seen has forearm bones and veins. Looks just like this but more kludged together. Also the cat was known to worship the experiment. If you looked up who the cat is, before the experiment he was a child with a grabpack trying to help 1006 escape. 4:45 Knowing a kid named “Theodore” is the person behind the mask. I think the sounds of Catnap’s cardboard cutout are breathing of a literal child on life support. Remember the reason why Catnap views the Prototype as his god is because after little Theodore went from being electrocuted, the prototype saved him and took him back to playcare for the staff to save his life too.

He has a couple scenes where his tail goes up to the ceiling and when he watches you from the vents that are missing here, but I really appreciate being able to see these in different angles! Especially the close-ups of the shrine, stunningly ominous

I love it so much that even if you do this, the character is following you with it's eyes/face. Miss Delight's eyes were the scariest for me ,when I started to watch videos like this of the game.

What makes it so confusing is why the plushies are sentient and how they became hostile in the first place. Yet it obviously has something to do with the prototype, yet in the tape we see huggy, catnap, mommy long legs (she's hard to spot but her arms are grabbing people) and boxy boo attacking people and no other creatures, so this must've effected every experiment, but if they were never sentient were they always hostile? Well no, look at kissy missy, she's sentient yet isn't hostile like huggy. In chapter one huggy dies, chapter two Mrs long legs is gone, and then catnap is gone for good including the teacher ms delight. But we do see boxy boo in the shrine, meaning he possibly could've been killed by catnap, meaning that not all monsters are allies, some kill for fun and try and kill the most people, yet they get in each other's ways and so kill each other if hostile. Meaning what their humanity and personality was what depends on how they act, not to mention what toy they're based off.

that character is Bunzo from chapter 2. And yes, these are real scenes from the game that player can't see unless you use a debug camera.

2:23 This is great foreshadowing to how at the end he gets stabbed through the mouth. It is also fitting because this is in a statue of his worship to the prototype and his final action was praising the prototype.
