My theory, based off of the facts about this game, “the Doctor” was in suspension state in 1994, which maybe caused the Prototype to take charge afterwards for the Broken Body beings (especially for Catnap) to get revenge (and hunger) on the employees. Now that the player employee character has gotten close after defeating Catnap, the Prototype has awoken the Doctor (and Yarnaby cause of being the Doctor’s guardian) for to show the player’s demise and biggest secret of the factory.

Mai Theroy Poppy Created The Hour Of Joy. & It backfired when elliot ludwig became the prototype/one with the system. when he said "traitors" he wasnt refurring not so munch too the toys. but more or less poppy. poppy was most likely his dead daughter. witch would explain "why" his face is ripped out of all pictures vhs types etc. cuz at this point he was no longer poppys father for she was dead to him the moment she betraid him. he wanted to use the orphans to become toys however poppy was against it. he controlled poppy with the palm of his hand & she went against him. the very first vhs tape explained it all forward & backwords. we just couldnt see it. when played backwords poppy cryed for help; with voices saying "we kill people" when played forword it shows poppys voice is all scripted like she was paralized or being pulled bai puppet strings somehow. she couldnt even move. sence she is a doll it most likely she had a voice box put into her & forced her to talk unhinged. for example. you try to say "hi" but instead you say "so hammy wammy" why so hammy wammy? it doesnt make sence? exactly. the point is the voice box made you say something against your will. gas her up & wal la! shes a human toy. gas to imobolize her. & then the voice box to make her say werid stuff against her will. poppy got tyerd of being slaved away along with the other toys & the hole free labor stuff helping the staff do the work. that they all deside to go against elliot ludwig. except for something went wrong. he somehow became one with the factory & became the prototype & now he wants revange. but wait? no body?? prototype was unfinished. so he just simply gathed all the dead toys & slowly created a body of his own to regain power. but wheres poppy where all this is going on? you freed her before elliot ludwig could get to her. with mommy long legs webing her up he was still too week to get her. untill you`ve killed mommy & catnap you had only made him stronger! witch leaves us to where we are now. a mystery. waiting for elliot ludwig next move. for he`s been watching you from the very begining. he probably was the one that lored you to the factory. for you the protagnoist have something he wants. I also think he see`s poppys betrayl as a sin. from what we`ve seen so far is the playtime factory is a "utopia" a underground sociaty cut off from the world as shown in chapter 2 & 3. their deep underground & brain washed to stay young forever as toys elliot probably took his daughter life & made her into poppy. man grows old & dies. but a toy lives on forever. he saw promoteing poppy as a gift & she rejected it bai going against elliot aka her dad. kinda like the hole elizabeth & comstock relatchionship from (bioshock) ya kno? why i say (bioshock)?
