Ms delight asked the prototype if the children were safe, *Yes*, can i see them, *No*, cuz she’d kill them all. So the prototype and by extension Catnap had a reason or motive to keep the children safe. Now after 10 years or so i dunno how they’d survive entombed beneath the ground but maybe they are absorbed by the prototype or made into more slaves of the prototype. Or maybe they are grown ups now? So much more to be discovered

Poppy playtime seemed like such a simple cash grab to ride off the coat tails of rising mascot horror, but it is so cool to see it develop into a much deeper story with it's own unique self. Easy A with the portal-esque dialog sometimes. My favorite narative trope in all of gaming. "Waffle Brogie here" type beat

As an avid poppy playtime fan, I can honestly say that this playthrough has been a breath of fresh air. Pezzy has been an extremely entertaining and engaging commentator, providing lots of insight into the lore and gameplay while also keeping it funny and lighthearted. In this latest video, Pezzy's reactions to the game and its spooky elements have been spot on, making the viewing experience both entertaining and relatable. I'm actually pretty sure all the toys (Who were originally kids) grew up in the 10 years the factory laid abandoned. From what I can tell, Theodore was 7 when they turned him into catnap, meaning he was 12 during the Hour of Joy. Considering that the events happen 10 years after the hour of joy, it's a safe bet to say that Catnap is 22, and the other giant toys are around that same age

This chapter is really scary. Previous chapters aren't so intense and wild, this one is the best among others. The amount of details developers put in mechanics, different locations, characters and story is... incredible. Poppy Playtime evolved from just a "silly spooky game" to terrifying blood-curdling nightmare.

Tbh I think Ollie is actually the Prototype - must have needed help moving the gas around, and there's different spots where Ollie's speaking and they sound more glitchy and AI like. The Dev's also teased something along the lines of "what if we told you that Ollie has been in every chapter so far" and that kinda confirms it for me that Ollie is the Prototype talking to you, and unfortunately puts us right where he wants us.

imo i think the kids are still alive (for when pezzy asks at 1:18:50) because if Elliot Ludwig was really the prototype (according to how it behaves and managed to start a whole rebellion against the factory) his love for children would probably be cause to save them, elliot was the first to be turned into a toy and when they figured out it was too smart, the scientist guy used children instead. Another proof of this is ms.delight's tape when she says the prototype won't tell her where the kids are (for fear of her killing them) but confirms to her that they're alive. that makes me excited for later chapters when the protagonist manages to find and save the children, bcz by now the children would be full adults so idk how they're gonna make that side of the story wrap up.

Andddd so now kissy missy is controlled by the prototype. my prediction is that in the next chapter you will see her but she will be a “final boss” and poppy tries to go and “rescue her” and kissy missy sacrifices poppy to the prototype. But since the game is called poppy’s play time I could only safely assume that poppy will be the last character you kill or she controls the prototype.

He's likely shacked up in the factory's mail sorting room or some other secondary control center, where he has access to the phones, security cameras, and an old pneumatic-tube delivery system that probably fell out of regular use by the '60s or '70s. Back in chapter 1, someone here in PlaytimeCo sent the player that envelope with the note and Poppy tape, and these pneumatic-tube networks often connect to the local post offices, so it may well be Ollie who initially contacted you and lured you to the factory.

This game reminds me of what they were trying to do in the first BioShock, lore wise. Take everyone to an underwater utopia and make them believe they are saved
