The off the shoulder was stunning on you. I will admit that we are not used to seeing you in that length dress however. I secretly wanted it to be longer. Thank you for reviewing the brand Popsy. Dresses were ALL lovely but a tad too short for me and I would say I was an average size at 5’5”. One very good thing is that they do free alterations to accommodate insulin pumps for ladies who suffer from type1 diabetes and also alter sleeve lengths for their sensors. HB. I am as surprised as you were with this haul. All the ďresses are brilliant and what fun is the book one.? I'll pop on to the site to check it out. I hope they now contact you. The bond you have with the grandkids is priceless Helen. I had my children young so have grandsons in their thirties who are still in regular contact with me because of the bond developed whilst they were young. They would phone as pre schoolers asking if they could come for sleepovers and who could refuse? Happy for you. Oops. Just had to mention your bee. She was probably a beautiful queen bee just out of hibernation. She won't harm you like a wasp would. If she comes in just shoo her out carefully. My mum said it was bad luck to kill a bee. 😃.

Wow, am impressed with all of their dresses, they all look so comfy and the prices are great, but I agree with you, they are just a tad too short for my liking especially if you were wearing any kind of heel with them. I'm the same height as you so am always interested in seeing where they fall on you and like you I don't like my knees on show. Shame they don't make them in slightly longer lengths. Someone suggested wearing tights but that then limits when you can wear them. My favourite was the stripy wrap dress, that was gorgeous on you and I'd definitely buy it if it were 2 inches longer. Just had a look at their site and they do do dresses in a midi length which might suit us 5'6"+ ladies a bit better. Maybe try some midi lengths next time Helen.

Your blouse is gorgeous, that shade of blue is so luxurious, the colour is definitely yours. What a shame the black/ striped dress was a wee bit short, but the cut with the stripes and the right length belt so flattering. The off the shoulder black dress looks great and certainly one you could use day to day with a jacket, cardigan and dolly up a bit for the evening, a good LBD. The wrap black dress, flattering, I can see what you say about being a bit short. I’m 5ft 9in, or I was last time I looked😂 and they would defo be too short for me, which is a shame, wonder what their trouser lengths are like? Ah, a world book day dress, what fun.
