That person will lose his or her soul (automatically sold their soul to the devil). Many preachers even concern hard-working people with genuine blessings from God because they misinterpret this verse. In Liberia, most people don't even listen to this kind of preaching because it discourages the genuine pure hardworking folks who have been blessed by God. Turning the scriptures upside down to favor their stomachs and pockets Blessings in Christ is a good sign that shows the people around you that your God is alive, he is the source of your prosperity and victory. When he died on the cross he said, it's finished. Finished to poverty, barrenness shame, delay etc.
