Cool aggregation! Wondering if you can make some slang videos for movies or TV series. One video per movie, such as for Masters of the air. That will be super fun.

I loved masters of the air! This is a great idea. I’ll look into it! 😄

Great video! Although I didn’t really understand whether we can actually say the phrase “what an W/L” or just use it in texting? Thanks in advance Amy :)
@YourFavoriteEnglishTeacher3 ай бұрын
You can use it in both texting or speaking! Just keep in mind it is slang, so I wouldn’t use it in an academic setting ;)

The chair ( where - on which) l was sitting suddenly collapsed. Which one is correct. Thanks in advance.
@YourFavoriteEnglishTeacher8 ай бұрын
“on which” 🙂 in a casual situation we’d actually say “the chair (that) I was sitting on suddenly collapsed”
@EDP25008 ай бұрын
"on which" is grammatically correct, but it sounds rather formal. "where", which is an adverb made up of "preposition + noun = on which", is technically correct, but it is less commonly used. Since the relative pronoun serves as an object, "which" can be replaced with "that" or even left out in casual English.

Thank you. However, I still wonder whether "fly" (fashionable, attractive etc) is NAmE or BrE. It' isn't very important to me, as I use it anyway, but my dictionaries and various sources on the internet seem unable to agree on which slang it is.
