The data is misleading, India's population will never reach 1.8 billion because we already reached replacement fertility level in 2019, The population will peak by 2040. All states except Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya are at 2.1 (replacement level) or below Replacement level.

Due to lack of birth control awarness 😒👍 Bihar birth rate and Tamil nadu birth rate were same during 1980's but today TN has reduced its birth rate to 1.2 but Bihar remains the same ! I think their polticians and leaders dont care about anything !

Comparaing to SL tamils and sinhalese, sinhalese have less even they're the one who have less fertility rate in sri lanka. Their fertility rate is 2.1👍 First say to TN govt to stop doing family planning treatment in TN private hospitals which are done by doctors without the parents' permission 😒😒😒😒 or else it would be difficult to entire tamil society 😥😥😥😥

When the graph crossed 2024, I realised this is a propaganda. But , in any case i think states which could keep their popukation under control should not suffer with representation of number of members of parliament at the hands of those who does bot control population. It is also important that the proportinal representation of MPs according to population is relaxed greatly for states which never had high population and so never had importance in parliament but could still keep their population under check. I am talking about small states of North East like Mizoram ,Manipur, Nagaland and the rest, J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Goa, Andamans, Puducherry and Lakshwadeep. They should be given higher proportionate representation in parliament using different formula.
