I feel like Vildhjarta are one of the few bands (the only band?) that took that Meshuggah influence and just went nuts with it, twisted and malformed it so much it was barely recognisable by the end. A lot of djent acts did the "Meshuggah + other stuff" approach. Vildhjarta are 100% their own thing.
