The concept of "porcotype" created by Hulk brings a very rich alternative to taking ideas off paper and seeing how they behave. As we said at the beginning of the book, porcotypes are extremely simple prototypes that are used to test ideas without spending a lot of time and/or money. These are less elaborate models that, despite not being visually beautiful, are incredibly effective in providing answers and solutions.
The use of the porcotype can be a valuable strategy in the development of product projects, allowing you to identify and correct problems in the early stages of the process, saving time and resources, and ensuring a more efficient and quality final result. They are a quick way to assess whether the imagined production processes (material, technique, etc.) really are the most interesting to achieve the expected result. This approach can contribute to the success of the project and to transforming ideas into reality more effectively.
