いつも楽しく拝見させていただいてます。ハマを使うタイミングは本焼きですか？素焼き時では必要ないのでしょうか？7寸皿を作ったますがその場合皿の高台が乗せれるハマが必要なのでしょうか？私の通う教室では磁器は扱っておらず先生もわからないとのことでこの場を借りて質問させて頂きました。お忙しい中すみませんが、アドバイスくだされば幸いです。

コメントありがとうございます。 磁器製作のハマですが、本焼きの時に使用します。 理想は、お皿を作った時にハマも同時に作って、同じように素焼きをして、本焼きの時に下に敷いて使います。 ただ粘土も必要になりますので、必須ではありません。 歪みたく無い作品に敷いて作ると、歪みを比較的抑える事ができます。 基本的には高台が乗るハマを作る事が大切です。 ハマは捨て材なので、コスパを考えながら使用の可否を決めて下さい。
