Thanks love 💖 & the best advice I’d give is just go for it. I waited so long for the “perfect time” & to be truthful, there’s never a perfect time. Just do it. Put out your best content , as long as you’re giving it your all that’s all that matters. Also , you don’t need a fancy camera , I literally use my old phone from ages ago (IPhone 6sPlus) , get a $15 phone mount from Amazon, set up & start filming . Checkout my latest Q&A with the stiletto nails as well. I give a lot of KZbin info/advice in that video as well 💖

Hiii , welcome love 🥰❤️ I usually encapsulate everything but nude . So colors , glitter , designs that needs encap. You don’t want to waste your colors building the nail up , use your clear for thickness. Hope that makes sense 💖

To make the gel polish a little easier to work with just add little bit clear acrylic n mix it before placing it on the nail. Should make better to work with

Do you HAVE to encapsulate every time you use colored acrylic? I always wonder if I can just do colored acrylic but then I worry when you go to file and such that it will ruin the color ??? Please help

I prefer to cap colored acrylic just because I don’t want to use it to build the nail because it’s sorta a waste but most importantly because being that it is pigmented it’s weaker than clear/cover powders. I of course recommend it for ombrés and designs that require encapsulation. But you don’t necessarily have to however I recommend it. If you don’t cap the nail I recommend at least applying a thin layer of clear underneath for strength . Hope this makes sense & helps 💖

What monomer are you using? I call it Crocodile skin because it looks more like crocodile skin than snake.
