What threat do the coyotes pose to warrant the need of trapping other than making sure they dont over-populate?
@walterroberts15359 жыл бұрын
+Lefteris Mistakidis They are a threat to themselves when over populated so we can start with that. The coyotes eat just about anything they can catch or dig out of a hole which is natural and necessary, there is nothing wrong with that. Deer, livestock and domestic animals are targeted when their food supplies dwindle as is the case in heavily populated areas, like where we live. The wolves move in to coyote areas and the coyotes avoid any contact if they can. The wolves begin to take the deer fawns and adults, what is not eaten is then taken by the coyotes, essentially turning the coyotes into scavengers more than prey killers. If they are left alone unchecked they would eventually wipe out all of the small and large game until they turn to dogs and cats in the neighborhoods. So not many threats to list, sorry if I am not much help. Thank you for watching and for your question.

it makes such a cute noise xD
@walterroberts15359 жыл бұрын
+madamikunator98 Yes, they do make a rather innocent little purr much like an infant animal would. Interesting to hear and a shame we can't pet them very easily without a bit of pain, lol! Thank you for watching and for your comment!

@walterroberts15359 жыл бұрын
+Accbar Sace Thank you Accbar Sace and you are OK not to know anything about hunting as this is a totally different activity. Trapping is a means to control populations and on occasion we catch things we are not trying to catch. Thank you for watching and for your comments.

@starcraft2own6 жыл бұрын
Well if you're leg is stuck in a trap like that for half a day or a day i'd like to see you walk perfectly fine until you've readjusted to not having your leg pulled in an awkward position for hours, trust me a sore leg is the least of a wild animals worries.
@qswedasf6 жыл бұрын
Oi idiot, my comment is aimed at contradicting what the summary and the up loader says. "and his not walking fine" go watch the vid and read my comment again
@starcraft2own6 жыл бұрын
Wehan you didn't understand what I meant at all and you're calling me an idiot, his leg isn't hurt but it's only been in an awkward position for hours. Something like that would make anyone walk weird until they are used to walking again and their muscles go back to their natural state. That animal does not have a hurt leg because if he did he would not be supporting his weight on it when he walks at all. And my comment is to show that your contradicting comment is incorrect, "idiot."

He is NOT FINE.. he is limping… or did I miss understand the purpose of a trap? Was this your trap? Traps are barbaric and should be outlawed.

Fair is fair Walter Dolittle... If you're going to insist on trapping them, let them bite/quill you when you go to release them. It's only as big of a deal as the inconvenience/stress and yes- injury you impose. At least entertain us.
