Incredible song from an incredible album. Yes Steve Wilson is one of the masters at effects and using different guitar tones. Certainly an accomplished and excellent rhythm and lead guitar player and vocalist. Sad theme to the song. Actually sick. To think this sick lunatic took a bunch of other lives with his. Sad.

@highvoltage61133 жыл бұрын
@@jannowak3604 Something feels off though - it sounds REALLY close to the album version. Was it somehow re-mixed, or was there a backing track? I also feel like his hand movements aren't syncing well with the acoustic strumming.
@amandastevenson61013 жыл бұрын
@@highvoltage6113 I wouldn't be surprised if there was a backing track, it's a very complex melody with many layers. Besides, how else would they play that sample of Do speaking? That said, I believe the idea of a professional musician fake playing to a live audience would make Mr Wilson sick to his stomach. Don't forget too that this footage is 20 years old and the audio may not be 100% with the picture.

Occasionally, there is a song that comes along and makes me fall in love with Music all over again. "Last Chance..." is one of those songs. Most of the Lightbulb Sun album sounds like the music I was into back in 2000, something Steve Lamacq might have played on BBC Radio 1's Evening Session, and I can't believe it passed me by so quietly. To me personally, the change in tone is what gets me. The music is absolutely transcendent, and for a reason. I believe it reflects the belief of the cult followers that they would transcend to the next level of glory. It's hopeful, mysterious and very very sad all at once. The abrupt ending is poignant too. As a person who suffers from passive suicidal ideation, I FEEL this song, and I can't stop listening to it.
