ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FINISH..!! and for the price, what more does anyone want..?? I have watched literally hundreds of spray videos and I cannot think of another gun that lays it down as beautifully or as effortlessly as the PRD 717 split tip. Astonishing.

I have the 717 for about 6 months now. I just picked up a SATA 5500RP and I like spraying 2:1 clear with the Porphis better. I have a SATA 5000 for base and other than the looks the Porphis is a totally different spray gun from both of my SATA GUNS.

What clear are you using? Water or solvent?

Hi Joel, fantastic review mate I'm just blown away with the Porphis gun as you get a WS400 quality finish but at a fraction of the price, I've been using the 715 normal tip in 1.3 for my solvent base and I'm telling you that it's damn close to my goto gun the DV1 B+ then I use the 717 spit tip in a 1.4 for clear as it's a bit faster than the 717 1.3 and it just makes me😃 Do you find that the 717 is quiet compared to most guns but at the same time it uses quite a bit of air which you would expect it to be fairly noisy🤔🤷♂even though I'm a home user my compressor just about manages to run the gun and my airfed mask👌 Loving your videos man🙏👍John UK

I was lucky enough to win two of those. I love the clicks on the fluid knob. I was super grateful to win them. Haven’t used them because I don’t want to ruin them on boats

Thank you , I have one , I sprayed for the 1st time & I was not happy with it... Then I seen another Video and another guy said use more air! & it came out nice! I am use to SATA guns & I like moving Fast.. This one for me you move slower.. But i am really starting to like it , Depends also on the clear, I used one kind of thick & one more thinner & the thinner one Just layed out like Glass like my SATA guns do.. I also bought one from Iwata called Kiwami & that one sprays GOOD too... It likes the heavier clears and this one you have to move it really lays it down.. . Again thank you, I got a lot out of your Video Oh, What is the difference from the VS 717 & the MP 715 using the same tip 1.3 ? is one recommended for Base & one for Clear.? Oh and how much air pressure were you using in the Video Thanx

For what it’s worth a Chinese guy told me their refrigerators work fine, their cars are decent. But what’s sent to the us is normally garbage because there’s a middle man. I figure maybe buying a gun straight from them would actually work.

Exactly what is base coat blender?
@ckz00116 күн бұрын
Blender is basically a clear base coat that you'd use on the panels you intend to blend your color into so it provides a wet a bed and helps for a seamless transition from the painted panel like the fender in this case into the non painted panel (the door).
