Awesome. I just purchased a 718 GTS too. My past Porsche cars have been in order, 1) 1985 Euro motored 911 Carrera coupe 2) 1991 911 Carrera 2 Coupe manuel trans club racer 3) 2006 Cayman S manuel. 4) 2018 718 Boxster GTS 2.5 pdk. This new GTS is so rad, better in every way to the last 3 for sure. Smokes 5.0 litter mustangs, has that immediacy in the steering like my non power assisted 911 did, and fits everywhere that my Golf GTI fits with a far better fit and finish. Looks amazing, I get way more comments about it than I ever did about it than any of my 911s or the Cayman. That flat four is no poser. It's 8 stuffed into 4. And it goes where posers only dream. LONG LIVE the 2.5. Happy 25 years old Boxster!

Love Pcars, last one was a 964. But... cant fit golf clubs in a Cayman - was a deal breaker for me also can't do much of your own work on it. Can't wait for your video on just a simple spark plug change. :) Have fun brotha!

I just got one of these in Guard Red, this thing is a absolute missile. I’d love to get numbers on how many of these they produced, I don’t think many in that 2 year span.

Yeah me too. I saw a forums saying less than 20 in orange per year. So guessing the rest are the same. Porsche doesn’t release official numbers for reasons I don’t understand.

Man. We have a very similar taste in cars. I’ve been watching your channel for a while, ever since you had your SS 1LE. I also had an SS 1LE, then a C7 Z06 when you got your C6 ZR1. Now I have an Audi TT RS and you’ve got a 718 GTS. I’ve been very intrigued with the 718’s and I look forward to seeing what you do with this car.

Yeah everyone wants Alcantara till they have owned it before. Camaro I had had alot of it and it was so hard to protect and keep clean.

nice, but why you not ordered the new GTS 4.0 lore 6 cyl. ? this is the 2.5 liter cannot compare with the new one performance

Yes and no. The power on this comes on much soon. It's also considerably cheaper.

Also, the hts 4.0 doesn't gain near as much on a tune. This goes to 430whp with just a tune...

That was such a hard decision. The extra torque. 317 compared to 309 with manual, overboost button and the dual clutch is why I went pdk auto. The padals are a blast but I do miss that third pedal.

What year is this model?

2018 so it has the 2.5 turbo. With gts I think it's a 67mm. The 4.0 would be nice but it's about 10k more plus. And the mpg would suffer slightly. Want it for touring and I think the 2.5 t will be perfect. New gts has 4.0 NA. But for bang for the buck the 2.5 I think will be better. Simple tune or ecu swap and you gain 80hp. So 900 to 2000 usd she will destroy the 4.0.
