@@sundaymorningdrives Yeah. I had a Solstice GXP when they came out. it had the same type of roof, and I never remember complaining about it. But that was a much less expensive car. I still fine the car attractive though.

I don’t mind the roof at all, granted I live in a very sunny climate but it to me makes it more of an occasion to put down and also less parts to break coming from a M3 Convertible I had which it’s roof was always breaking and not working properly on multiple occasions,

There are quite a bit of difference if you look closely. Some people might think the similarities are part of the "heritage" and "history", like the 911, but some might think it's just design laziness, haha

My only reservation is the lack of a manual. I know the pdk is faster, but there is so much added by a manual. A sports car is not a sports car without a manual.

These are Euro option, kind of a mid grade seat. Not carbon. I wish we got these in Canada I would have ordered them

The roof only takes 20-30 seconds. The suspension is softer. Same hardware but tuned softer than the GT4. It's more compliant for the street.

The chassis and engine in the 718 Spyder and GT4 are the same. The only difference between the two cars is the roof (soft top manual convertible in the Spyder) and the rear spoiler. Other than that the two are identical in every way.

@@sundaymorningdrives I bought one when they first came out and I just purchased my second one. He’s an absolute pleasure to drive and the advantage of having a frunk and a trunk is fantastic. I can go on trips I can carry luggage and yes, you can put golf clubs in the rear part of it. It really is quite the perfect sports car and it is absolutely a blast to drive.

Beautiful car but the first 9 minutes of the video are useless, just repeating what others have already said done on countless videos “ intro, exterior, interior, roof etc” just focus on the driving part!!! … and stop pointing the camera to your face we want to see the road ahead!

Yes, the Spyder RS is a more thrilling car, but because of it's price and allocation issues, it might not be for everyone, not to mention the even more complicated manual roof, the less-comfortable ride, and the very loud cabin, maybe most people will prefer the Spyder over the RS? I am not sure.

We want to shift manual with autoblip. I prefer the 718 spyder, and the RS version is overpriced and trackfocused, who wants that? 99% of the RS owners dont even drive the car properly. Start with a 2.0 boxter

But if I am only to have ONE sportscar, the 718 Spyder is probably a very very tempting choice. What would you pick?
