Nope. This is tuned to run wide open under full load all the time. Tuning on these four spark engines is for top end only.

I have been working with classic racing cars for about 6 years. During that time I have seen many many classic Porsches on racetracks like Spa, Zandvoort, Silverstone ánd Monza. This one sounds pretty bad when "woken up". These twin-spark Porsche engines have a hard time running smooth when cold. But this engine sounds bad; tuned and fiddled with too much...
