Another great job. Glad the slightly longer line fitted, avoided the third time lucky remake. 😂

Thank you. Yes, the power steering has turned into quite a task. In hindsight, perhaps just buying the new lines from Porsche would have certainly been easier, but the cost is simply insane. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! 😅

Nice work Joel! Remembering where all the bits go is half the battle! Impressive! Imagine if it were all wheel drive! Cheers!

I agree. Naming all the parts and bagging every up takes a long time at the outset, but having seen the benefits of this with the Land Rover, it’s the only way. Even. Ie I’ve got a box of bits without allocation… let’s see.

Nice work, Joël. If it’s sub zero in the garage, I’m guessing you might be a month or two behind in real time? You must be consulting quite a few of your videos in reverse for the reassembly process. Seems also like you're well organized on labelling and bagging nuts and bolts too. When I diagnosed a failed fuel pump a few months ago, I took the opportunity to pump out almost all the fuel and what few pieces of contamination I could find in the tank before installing a new pump and fuel sender unit but, must say, it seemed like a piece of cake compared to reinstalling the tank itself. Looks like you’re finally reaping rewards after all that extensive work on the power steering lines too. That’s gotta feel satisfying.

Hi Marcus, yes I’m definitely behind on YT. It’s a lot of work making videos and finding the time is not easy. It is rewarding putting it all back together, but the frustration of the job is a strong contender 😅. But for me, this is part of Porsche ownership, it’s not all about the driving. That said, once it’s done, I’ll definitely use it more. I’ve done such little mileage in it since my ownership and it’s been over 7 years with me now. 😬

Hey dude, long time no hear. I see you have changed your name and added farm. How is it going? Would be interesting to hear how the first months/year has gone. Regards Joël

@@My911 I changed my channel name to make it easier to find on KZbin to many channels just named Murphy Law. I can't wait to start my channel again been so busy behind the scenes but nothing interesting in videoing but I just bought a 6 ton excavator and dad bought a 11 ton truck so when I get the excavator to our property I will have loads to show because we can start building the farm finally. We have 100 acres to play with can't wait to show people.

Wow, that sounds awesome. Don’t forget we like the build up to big things. You could always to an intro video to the project and show us around. Then once you start building, you can always compare back to where it all started. I recon there a good couple of videos right there. But whatever works for you. 👍

@@My911 Don't worry we haven't done much to the property just fire wood harvesting been waiting to buy a excavator. So every body will see from that start. Just been doing things I will not show on KZbin like renovating inside my mum and dads cabin and private family life stuff. All the farm work is ready to start on video. The first video will be a property introduction video. Then I have lots of excavator work to do.
