Porsche 911 Concours Resto and 18K Original Mile Willow Green Porsche 914 at Gaswerks Garage

I took a field trip to Gaswerks Garage in NJ to see my buddy Fred's 911S concours resto. While there, I witnessed the most amazing parts collection ever...basically a full 911 spread out on two tables. Also an incredibly rare Willow Green 1973 914 with only 18K original miles! Enjoy!

Love the shop visit Ian, does look like it will be finished to a very high standard, I'm always wary of plating but looking at the shade of the finish it looks good 👍

Thanks, Travis. Sorry I'm behind on my bumblebee episodes. For a variety of reasons I needed to get the car done at a much faster pace. What color is the 911S?

I think it's #8383 metallic green - a 1971 color

I have to say that Gaspare is one of the most authentic and down to earth people I've met in the car world. True, his work doesn't come cheap, and you're right...money is not everything. Great fun can be had with cars with very little. But it's always nice to see artisans who are at the top of their field do their thing, no?

it feels very down to earth - maybe not the cheapest - but that guy definitely gives a crap about people - you can just tell.
