My favourite thing about this driver is that when he's half way around a corner he knows before most that I've seen that he's going to make the turn so accelerates early, it's incredible

It looks like it displays the lap time. I'm not sure but maybe the crew on the pit wall give a certain time to run at and the display on the dash tells how close he is to that time.

He experiments with new lines all the time. On the hairpins Turns 2 and 14 he tries double apexes then finds that he's not carrying enough speed through the corner and goes back to the roundest arc line. This is a wicked track and must be physically exhausting to drive. I'm surprised how well the tires stood up despite wheelspin out of the corners and opposite lock. Following the big overcut the Swiss Stadler Porsche led for most of the race only to retire with braking problems. The silver and blue Merc took the flag with the other AMG second.

using the kerbs too much, makes the car bounce and then he'll run wide, shouldn't turn in so early into the last corner, should run wide early to get as much speed as possible exiting the last corner, especially against an SLS you should do that. Guy is worse than an amateur.
