The M3 doesn't make much down force at all. The GT3 rs , even with that Drs activated, the entire car overall from front to back is still dragged by all the Downforce it's making . It's a track tool.

When you do so may races, your abilities will increase. That said specifically Xdrive and ZF Torque converter via BMW launch control combined is far inferior to RWD and PDK via Porsche launch control. My previous Macan GTS launched better than my M4

The GT3RS is slower if u let it manually rev to 9k to shift, it’s faster if u shift around 7.5-8k. (PDK is smarter than us humans). I think it lost that race due to manual shifting not the car. Still great vid!

@BOM_NLD BMW did something equivalent proper bonkers mid-engine like M1-PRO race car +did supply engines for McLaren F1 so yeah.. i fully agree if BMW engineers want to do something crazy they will do it very well if we also consider (BMW - NAZCA C2) no doubts in my mind but it all depends of CEO decisions..

Had an M3CS. It’s fast, but try adjusting the A/C temp, fan speed and recirculation. Sweet car but the integra type S is a lot more fun … most people won’t be able to give up the flex but fun > flex for me.

On M3/M4 while in D1 Engine Comfort mode (defaults) the the kickdown is really-really slow. But you have the M1/M2 buttons and mine are mapped to D2 Engine Sport with Suspension Comfort and S3 Engine Sport Plus with Suspension Sport :D Anyaway, that Porsche is a great car. Just not a daily, like the BMW.

The late model M3's and M4's (all variants) will become legendary over time. The performance and luxury they pack for the cost is just unparalleled. The S58 is capable of making an additional 100hp with a tune. Just incredible
