@Shaker1978, The 928 is geared more towards speed than acceleration. Not to mention my 84 weighs about 1400kg unladen. It's also 25 years old now so it might be a few horses down on the factory numbers by now.

That's a great vid! One thing that is true is that the US model 928S is tall geared. I have an '85 S2 5 speed with far lower gearing and it can hit 60 in about 5.5 seconds, and reach 100 mph in 12.5-13.0. Best time at the strip so far has been a 13.86 @105 mph.
