Porsche 944 07K Swap: Lessons Learned 2

I am putting an 07k in my car right now. I came across your videos and started watching and realized that(not trying to be a jerk here) my skill levels were a bit more advanced than yours. But I figured that I probably would learn something useful through someone going through it and I watched all of them. The last part of this video really stuck with me. I have another 951 track car that I git fed up with the brakes- wiring in a mk60 abs, switching to manual brakes with a balance bar and wiring it all into the ecu with wheel speeds... I realized that I had to re do about 85% and just stopped. I won't even put the wheels on it to take it off my lift and do this 07k swap in my other track car. I get it. I mean I really get it. It pisses me off just seeing it there. Great job and keep us all updated.

Another great video, Cam - You're doing gods work pointing out all the little idiosyncrasies.. I didn't even know about the fuel injector o-rings..

I have been at ground zero 3 times in my 951 project, so just keep going! mistakes are about overcoming, adapting and remember what you learned. and use torquespec :D

So clarifying question: the Mishimoto oil cooler-you bought that to replace the cheap/defective power steering cooler?

I purchased their power steering cooler. It's identical to the oil cooler, except it has an-6 barbs on top instead of an-10 ones. I have that oil cooler already in the car. Hope that helps!
