May i ask a question?? What motor oil do you use/ recommend?? I understand running the wrong grade of oil promotes oil leaks on the air cooled cars???

What suspension and tyres are you running? Very nice driving, gorgeous car!

THANKS. It's a Bilstein B6 suspension on the hardest/lowest level. Still soft enough for the Nordschleife. Tyres are Michelin CUP2 on 18' OZ. Breaks are from the 964TURBO front and back with race pads - really makes a difference....

Nice, thanks. I am planning some of the same upgrades to my 996, but first a short shifter kit, one thing at a time :) I am also running 18" Alleggerita HLTs, and I want to add Bilstein suspension and some stronger brakes at least to the front, maybe Turbo or GT3 or similar. I am not sure yet which Bilstein model, I have to look into that. I will probably also upgrade the anti-roll bars to an Eibach set.

sounds great. AND!!! the seat....in my early days on the racetracks I was almost falling off the standard Porsche seat. I built in the RECARO POLE POSITION and it makes a huge difference! Your becoming part of the car rather than a passenger.@@user-oj7en8xx3g

Nice Driving :) My oil gauge does the same thing ... now I know why - Thank you. I have to seriously check my cooling setup though, because under similar conditions my temp gets up to 10:00 or 11:00 ... a winter project for me. Questions (if I may): Are you running the engine pan still on the car, and what are you using for oil? You car sounds great btw. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Peter. Yes, still with the same old engine pan - I know, it's a heavy piece. I use 10W40 oil. The sound on the video is ok, but live the car is way better...

Only shows level in oil reservoir, so when driving all the oil is being circulated.

Dry sump system, while running all oil is out, only while idling the gauge tells the right level

Terrible hand position on the wheel.....and loose your little wrist band. Love your car however!
