To be honest, it looked a bit like the ESP actually made it harder for you to catch it, as it appears you could've hold it yourself quite easily? (armchair racer here)

Hard to tell... Maybe... What I truly think is that I did most of the job. I may not be "perfect" but I can catch the car (check my other videos, maybe the last one in the rain). People are focusing on the TC/ESP thing, but they tend to forgot : I was pushing, made an error but saved the car, and kept pushing.

That the thing about the ring. If you go a bit outside, there is no extra/safety runway. Outside mean the wall! "Green hell" ! :D

Why would you have PDK Sport button ON if you are in manual mode? It makes only difference if operated in PDK Auto. PDK Auto + PDK Sport. Otherwise the button does nothing if you are shifting yourself. Nice driving.

That is a good question. There is a difference for sure, as you can clearly feel that shifting is more "brutal". Now the true question would be if it's just a feeling or if there is a real performance improvement. And honestly, I don't know (checked rennlist ect...). So in doubt, I let the sport mod on. I should run some test one day!!

I am pretty sure that in Manual Mode the PDK Sport button is only placebo effect. In Auto Mode and PDK Sport transmission keeps high rpm and shifts fast. Without PDK Sport it goes lazy but I still think that eventually it would learn to keep high rpm same way but I am not sure if the shifts would eventually be same fast. The User Manual also only describes PDK Sport in relation to PDK Auto. P.S. Rennlist is 90% BS. Like saying that in Manual Mode plus PDK Sport it is possible to over-rev... Safe driving! I hope to go to NR one day :)

There is no placebo effect with manual + sport. I can feel that shifting is more brutal, I'm sure of that. Anyway, see you on the ring!! :)

so you have to brake a bit before the hump right? because after it your rear becomes light and you go into over-steer easy

It's alright to brake after. I had the fuel tank (located at the front) full, so it probably played a lot and changed the balance of the car!

FaudraIt plusieurs niveau pour l ESP comme sur les ami gtr et pas uniquement ON ou OFF . Je suis sur que il t a porter plus prejudice que autre chose. L esp voulais te remettre droit, et toi tu voulais tourner a droite. résultat il t a presque mit dehors. J ai eu plus ou moins la meme experience mais dans le rapide gauche juste avant le carrousel

Je pense que ca reste suffisant, l'ESP en mode ON reste permissif et intervient quand c'est excessif... Celui de la GTR est bien trop intrusif (j'en avais une avant).
