I’d be scared with this driver at those speeds. Not holding the steering wheel correctly, resting one hand on the gear lever at times. Not really oozing proper technique there and giving the passenger confidence.

I think he is just wearing a Helmet for the Camera. You don‘t need helmets in Cars with Airbags. Actually it is safer without it.
