Thank you and although some of the video was corrupted I'm glad I had something to give those who's been following the build.

happy for you man! smashed it, saved so much on the labour and you did it all yourself, thats got to be a good feeling. Car sounds epic and shes pretty much bulletproof

Thank you, appreciate it. I figured the thousands I saved on labor I just threw it into mods.

Awesome video! 👌 gt2 clutch set up is my next mod! Going to watch the rest of your vids & just subscribed. Keep them coming 😎
@alhuegayle75506 ай бұрын
Thanks brother, the video before this which is Part 6 i went into the gt2 set up and the modification process a little. If I left something out then just ask me if you're not sure about something. You'll need to pull the power steering pump out and remove the drive gear ⚙️. These are the info that got corrupted unfortunately.

Proud of you dude! Not a small undertaking but you stuck with it! Epitomy of built not bought right there... Im hunting for a 997-1.5 to upgrade from a 997 C4S, im sure all of this in my future one day 😊

Thank you, it sure was a task. The very first video started as a DIY but by the third video I totally don't recommend undertaking this task unless you're really on top of your game. It was an awesome learning curve and totally glad I did it because I now know every angle or this car. Good luck finding your upgrade, the right one will fall in your lap.

Yea was gonna say coolant lines are the only real wear item you do not want to overlook on these 997s

Hi Alhue, unbelievable work, very motivational / inspiring. I have the same car with the same fault 🤦♂️. Do you think it's possible to access the rubber end of the turbo coolant pipe where it connects to the engine without dropping the engine. Ie by removing throttle body / air con pump? Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Kind regards Malcolm, England. 👍
@alhuegayle75502 ай бұрын
@@malcolmbray9459 Thanks, unfortunately I wish I could say Yes to your question. You have to take apart almost the entire engine just to get to the engine side of that line. Good luck if you decide to tackle the job.
