What about NVH? Considering you didn’t cut the OEM rubber grommet and install it on the numeric cables. Ultimately the stock cables break. The numeric cables will likely never break and will keep you from being stranded or limp home.

@blacklightus what do you mean NVH? The OEM gromet is not designed to be removed as its integrated with the OEM cables.

Most will cut it down the middle and reattach it to the numeric. NVH = noise, vibration, harshness.

Looks like it’s missing part of the side skirt kit at the rear wheel. Should be rocker panels there. Look closely at the paperwork for who did the heads and make sure the valve guides were addressed.

@jedbl7576 The heads were the #1 deal breaker when looking for a Zo6. There was alot more receipts to go threw but but I just didn't want to drag out the video. The entire heads and supporting components were changed and upgraded. I think I'll go more in depth for the next video. Thanks for pointing it out to me though.

glad to hear they were addressed. Engine is a beast once that Achilles heel is fixed! It’s a real bummer if you drop a valve. Enjoy the car! And congrats!

Now you have a corvette come out to corvette events. Corvette expo is in March over 400 corvette cruising the Tail of The Dragon. And Corvettes at Carlisle Pa in August.

There is a lever inside to open car without power or battery. And if it’s dead and you are on the outside there is a secrete key hole by tag light to pop trunk then a lever in trunk to open door. So no it’s not a stupid deign it’s awesome. Love the car.

Theres an emergency release handle for the doors. I thought the same when I had my C6 but yea the handle is by your drivers seat

Subscribed. Those are chrome c7 zo6 wheels. Not stock. Make sure they "fixed" the valves in your heads and not just ported. You're going to have a blast.

@@bigdaddyweav71 I'm totally a corvette amature and still learing it all. I cought my self saying "cams" when we all know LS motors only have a single cam 🤦🏾♂️. Thanks for the correction on the wheels. The valves were the number one thing i made sure were done before even thinking about buying a C6 Zo6. It's been a fun car thus far.

looks great , i generally despise chrome wheels but they work well enough on this car for whatever reason even though they are gonna be gone, and as you said understated enough for an adult to drive and iconic engine . Great car , imposible to not have fun with 700 crank 427 and a manual trans . Truth is , a Hyndai Suv with a battery will steal your lunch at stoplight but will never be as fun as a manual car like this . Also , good luck finding as rowdy a car as this that will in relative terms sip fuel in 6th while cruising just over idle at 70 ish. 7.0 with some aero wont give you 35 mpgs on hwy like a stock 5.7 C 5 but I cant imagine any car with this power level getting better HWY miles. I will sub if you tell me what it gets on Hwy at cruising speeds or whatever speed returns best MPGs on hwy which is around 70 ish with LS1 C-5 and same for F-bodies which were very slippery and also into 30s . i wouldnt be shocked if you get high 20s with double the output of LS1 or at least 25 cruising . getting on it , im sure it will chug like a frat boy but interested to know with the cam etc on 7.0 what it drinks on a roadtrip with cruise set in overdrive .

As for highway miles I'll try to give that some attention and see to report back but truth be told I don't really drive my cars much. Working from home and in my line of work the only thing I drive regularly is the truck or a random beater that I have in my drive way from time to time. I just like owning cool shit 😎 till I'm tired of it and move on. Oh yeah and chrome wheels is not my thing either, no day of the week. These wheels look ok but wait till toupee what's coming.

@boostedhatch3 new wheels are about inch and a half wider front and rear and rubber going to be the same size which is already big 275 front and 325 rear. No big pulls yet.

Also there is a manual emergency door latch on the bottom left for driver side and bottom right for passenger. ☝🏼

@ No problem. I learned the hard way when the battery died on me 😅. Chevy tries to get fancy every now and then. The c6 zr1’s have a proprietary dual fuel tank system, that the dealerships still have no idea how to service haha.
