lol how is that Project Cars 3 a game released in 2020 has the INCORRECT sound file for the Porsche Carrera GT and NFS Most Wanted a game released in 2005 has the MOST accurate sound of the Porsche Carrera GT, you would think after 15 years that a simple thing like making sure a car has a correct sound would be easy but i guess its too much work for the Devs, FM4 sounds accurate and FH4 sounds off, the Tone of the Carrera is there but everything else is wrong with sound in Horizon 4, you should have added the Crew 2 comparison as well since thats sound really really good.

To be fair though Codemasters have some of the best audio in the business so perhaps the next Project Cars game may have better audio if they share their resources and audio talent. I think SMS were just being a little lazy here by not developing the sound for the Carrera GT and instead recycled what they already had, probably to save costs and time.

Yeah, they’ve basically just re-used sounds from other v10’s in the game rather than recording their own samples or purchasing samples of the car. Cheap and easy for them to do it this way. Quite disappointing for for what’s meant to be a AAA title.

I find it sad that Forza Horizon 4 has a better Carrera sound than FH5. The one game that everybody though had the worst car sounds has the best Carrera sound.

It’s not Forza Horizon 4, it’s Forza Motorsport 4. At the time it was known to have some of the best sounds in the industry. Horizon 4 is the one that’s known to have poor sounds.

they use engine synth nowadays it makes it sounds digital and robotic but i do believe its the way forward. Lol give it until forza horizon 17 when they finally master it.
