Thanks for this tutorial! Started this process 2 days ago, completed it today ~ took longer to get in the correct silicon product order and in hand ~ my 2015 S E-Hybrid headlamp housing has an extra hiccup as the gasket clips into the housing itself creating a set of narrow, hard to get to areas between lens and clip for silicon ~ letting it cure for 2 days now ~ excited to see results

Is it possible that the issue is coming from the rubber gasket needing to replaced?

Hi Stephen, did the silicon caulking fix your problem? I have the same problem and it appears to be a common Cayenne issue. I've tried many things but failed.

Hey Stephen I have one broken headlight with a ballast on it and need to replace it. I can only find another headlight that has no ballast. Will this work in my car? Part numbers are identical bar the letter on the end. What do I do with the old ballast from the broken headlight?
@stephenbaird17343 жыл бұрын
Hi. I'm no expert but I have replaced a headlight on another car and reused the ballast from the broken one. It worked fine. Not sure if you can remove the ballast on the Porsche headlight though. Sorry! Got to be worth a try though.
